The Yemeni Armed Forces have started a major offensive to liberate the last parts of Hodeida province from Saudi occupation.

SANA’A – On Tuesday, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Yemen officially started a new offensive in order to liberate all of Hodeida Governorate from the occupation by Saudi-led invasion forces.

Hodeida Governorate, one of the most populated areas in Yemen, is for a large majority liberated and under control of the National Salvation Government, but a small area in the south near the border with Taiz Governorate still remains occupied.

Launching an offensive along two frontlines near the Mauzaa district, the Yemeni Armed Forces and Popular Committees inflicted heavy casualties on the occupation military forces and mercenaries, with dozens of casualties being reported.
