Mohammed al-Houthi: Saudis can choose between ceasefire or total defeat in Hodeidah

SANA’A – The Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Huthi, has on Wednesday described the following regarding to Hodeidah ceasefire agreement:

“Hodeidah is not an easy target: either there will be peace and the implementation of the Sweden agreement, or inferno will be waiting for the invaders and their mercenaries.”Mohammed Ali al-Huthi wrote on his Twitter account on Wednesday.

“I told him that the road will be opened to the mills when the situation from the other side is safe, al-Houthi said this during a meeting with the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths.” referring to the numerous violations of the ceasefire committed by the Saudi-led invaders.

On Tuesday, reports surfaced about the Saudi killing of a Yemeni demining expert who was clearing the roads towards the Red Sea grain mills, indicating Riyadh’s unwillingness to abide by the ceasefire.

Mohammed al-Houthi also called on the UN envoy to ensure the other party will commit the ceasefire, and will not obstruct the implementation of the Sweden agreement, so that Yemen could implement the agreement and redeploy without any hindrance.
