Watch: Yemeni Army Repels Coalition’s Attacks in Bayda
BAYDA – The Yemeni army and popular committees have repelled large-scale attacks of Saudi-led aggression mercenaries in the province of Bayda, in central Yemen, on Saturday, Military sources told Yemen press Agency.
The sources said that the army forces were able to drive the mercenaries back with heavy losses in a successful counterattack.
The Saudi-backed mercenaries tried to launch an attack on the army’s positions at the Natea front in Bayda on Saturday, advancing towards Bayadah areas. However, determined resistance by the Yemeni army and Popular Committees forced the attackers into retreat.
The mercenaries suffered an unknown number of casualties during the failed attack.
