Yemeni army advances in West Coast, Ma’rib front

SANA’A – The Armed Forces of the Republic of Yemen, together with the Popular Committees, have made significant progress in both the West Coast and Ma’rib province frontlines.

On Thursday, the Yemeni forces inflicted dozens of casualties upon the Saudi invading forces in Durayhimi district of Hodeidah, as well as destroying a number of armoured and transport vehicles.

In the Harib district of Ma’rib province, the Armed Forces and Popular Committees liberated several strategical military site, which costed the Saudi-backed forces significant losses in both military personnel and material.

Furthermore, both on Wedneday and Thursday, Yemeni air defence units succeeded in shooting down an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft of the Saudi Air Force. To top the series of military successes off, the Missile Forces of the Yemeni army launched three Zilzal-1 long-range artillery rockets at a gathering of Saudi troops in Najran, hitting the targets directly.
