Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack on Taiz
SANA’A – The Armed Forces of the Yemeni army on Monday repelled an attack of Saudi-backed mercenaries in Taiz province, Yemen Press Agency quoted military sources as saying.
The coalition mercenaries tried to advance toward Kadaha front in Mafer district but were foiled by the Yemeni army and popular committees.
The attack left dozens of pro-coalition fighters dead and wounded, the military sources said.
Earlier in the day, the army forces launched a large-scale attack on the sites of the coalition-backed mercenaries in Salw district in which several mercenaries were killed and wounded.
The Yemeni army and popular committees increased their attacks on the Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries on all fronts in retaliation for committing war crimes and massacres against Yemeni civilians.
