Anti-occupation protests rock Taiz

Large demonstrations against the Saudi-led occupation and the poor living conditions resulting from it have rocked the Saudi-occupied areas of Taiz province on Tuesday.

According to eyewitness accounts reported by the Yemen Press Agency, angry demonstrators have shut down several shops on Jamal Street in the centre of the city, as well as cut off several other streets during the demonstration.

Participants chanted slogans and raised banners denouncing the economic policies of the Hadi regime, and accused the Saudi-led coalition and its minions of deliberately starving the Yemeni people.
